Landing Pages and Internet Advertising

Your marketing strategies must result in low costs and high investments. The same applies for B2B Marketers who want to seek maximum Returns on Investments and optimize the process of advertisement spending and internet advertising. You may want a large number of people to check out your ads but may meet your target with a lesser number of people becoming actual customers.

On the other hand, you may be content with lesser number of people clicking on your links and equal number of people turning customers. In internet marketing, traffic to websites is driven through Search Engine Marketing or Search Engine Optimization and posting relevant news or information each and every day. The more number of people that visit your site, the more number of people click on your advertisement links.

This happens at least by the difference in the ratio of the people who visit and the difference in the ratio of the people who click. A landing page can be of two types – one, a page that leads from a search engine to the website or the one that leads to a website or another webpage from the same website. It has to be understood that the internet marketing is need driven and you have to target the specific customers and their specific needs.

Otherwise, a customer bypasses and leaves the page. This also means to explain that not all those who click become your immediate customers. The conversion rate might be high or low depending upon the product that you advertise. You may have a 90 conversion rate and it can hardly be 100 percent and click-through rates can also be higher or lower.

But the truth is, in E-commerce and other online businesses to consumers, there is always a delight in buying a product or a service online, just because, it may be easy or that it may feel to perform an online transaction. But most of the B2B businesses exist only online and use the internet and use at least 60 percent of their resources in online marketing.

This heavy dependence leads them to generate leads and convert those leads into businesses. Using Pay Per Click programs you can see how your advertisements are doing and that is at least a source of income, if the number of clicks do not convert. However, that does not equal the kind of income achieved through conversion of leads into customers!
