Role of Internet in B2B Technology Marketing
First of all, you have done either the Search Engine Optimization or the Search Engine Marketing to develop traffic to your website. Now it is just one click away for a customer to visit your page and know what services you offer. But it is not as simple as the single click might sound. The customer is most probably bound to click on only the first ten listed sites on Search Engines.
It may most probably be the first link or the link that meets his needs. After choosing the link, he wants to feel that his needs are fulfilled on the first page or at least to feel that your website is similar to what he wants or needs. Your landing pages must be unique and this requires some good investment. Your landing pages must possess relevant content that he believes will fulfill his needs.
Though this is one form of assurance, they want even more of an assurance by testing your products. They often dread that they may have to devote time and money in something that something that might not give the best of results. Hence, you may have to give a trial offer which can make them believe or understand that your product is suitable for them.
Demos have gone out of fashion and no one has the spare time to enjoy watching a demo. They want to try out the product themselves. This is also because a trial is more authentic than a demo and customization of software or the compatibility is easily analyzed. This means an active participation of the customer in the buying process, right from the word go, than a passive observation which might sometimes be deceptive.
By doing so, you add more sense of trustworthiness, credibility, authenticity etc. to yourself. You also help the customer believe that your product is good enough for them to use. Alleviating insecurity on a product is a huge stride you are making towards selling your product.
